Hi, I’m Avery! I’ve been babysitting and dog sitting since high school, and today I’m a nursing student at South College. Bedtimes, bottle feeds, leash walks and homework, all handled with calm and care, plus sweet little updates while you’re out.
Kids & pups welcome
Date nights, weekend afternoons, school pickups and full days. I follow the routine you already have, so your kids feel right at home.
Drop-in visits, walks and overnight stays, at your home or mine. I’ve cared for lots of pups, and my girl Pumpkin loves new friends.
Kids and pets together, with one sitter who knows them all. Most families I sit for have both, so this is where I really shine.
I started babysitting in high school for families in my neighborhood, and their dogs came right along with the kids. I’ve loved it ever since. Now I’m in the nursing program at South College in Nashville, working toward becoming a family nurse practitioner.
I also volunteer with hospice in the Franklin area. It has taught me so much about patience and paying attention, and those same things matter in your home on a Tuesday night: staying calm, noticing what someone needs before they ask, and being someone your family can truly count on.
When I’m not in class, I’m usually curled up with my own pup, Pumpkin, my favorite little cuddle buddy.

A free 20-minute meet and greet at your home or over video. Kids and pups are very welcome.
Allergies, bedtimes, feeding times, house rules and who to call. I write it all down.
You’ll get a photo and a little update while you’re out, and come home to a happy house.
I don’t use a one-size-fits-all price list. A regular Tuesday evening is different from a last-minute date night or a weekend with two dogs and a toddler, so let’s talk it through and find what feels fair for both of us.
